Michael E. Hirsch

Michael practices in the firm's litigation department. He graduated magna cum laude from the Clemson University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, minor in Spanish. He then attended law school at the University of South Carolina School of Law in Columbia, South Carolina.

During law school, he participated in Phi Delta Phi honor society, served as a law clerk for the Honorable Chief Justice Jean Hoefer Toal, Supreme Court of South Carolina, and served as a research assistant for Professor Elizabeth Chambers. Michael was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 2013 and the North Carolina Bar in 2017.

After graduating law school, Michael returned to his home county of York County, South Carolina, and clerked for the Honorable Daniel Dewitt Hall, Circuit Court Judge of the Sixteenth Judicial Circuit. He began his career as a practicing attorney at a general litigation firm and eventually gained experience as an insurance defense attorney. He also has transactional experience practicing in the commercial real estate, lending, and corporate acquisition arena.
