As of 8am this Thursday morning, Mecklenburg County is under a stay-at-home order.

If you are one of the essential business (see yesterday’s update for more info on that), you need to encourage your employees to actively practice social distancing while in the workplace.

As we experience this Covid-19 pandemic, keeping social contact to a minimum should have become a very important part of your daily business practice.

It is equally important to look ahead and make sure you are prepared:
Do you have the right workers’ compensation policy in place?
Do you have policies in place that cover your employees working from home?
Do you need to update your employee handbook to define “working from home” expectations, rules, employer’s and employees’ rights and responsibilities?
