BridgehouseLaw LLP is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Employment & Labor Law Associate Attorney to join our growing team in Charlotte, North Carolina.

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior attorney who is passionate about employment law and interested in building a long-term career within a dynamic, international law firm environment.

Our firm regularly advises domestic and international clients on matters involving employment compliance, workplace policies, litigation, business operations, immigration, and cross-border matters. Associates work closely with senior attorneys and leadership while gaining hands-on experience across a wide range of client matters.

Job Description:

• Represent employers in employment and labor law matters, including:
  • Discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claim
  • Wage and hour compliance
  • Wrongful termination matters
  • Employment contracts and workplace policies
  • EEOC and administrative proceedings
  • Employment-related litigation and disputes
• Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, and employment agreements
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda
• Assist in litigation preparation, discovery, and hearings
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and courts
• Support senior attorneys on complex employment and business matters
• Participate in firm initiatives, training, and professional development

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in North Carolina.
• Member in good standing with the NC Bar.
• 1–2 years of experience in employment, labor, or related litigation preferred
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple matters
• Professional demeanor and strong client service focus
• Commitment to teamwork and firm culture
