Persons skating on 14th Street in Midtown Atlanta, after our earlier post about the snow chaos reviewed the lack of preparedness, are now posting their images. Great, a large open air skating ring in the middle of the city!

Mr. Nendel is one of the persons who posted a video of himself ice skating on Peachtree Street between 11th and 14th Streets on the video sharing website Vimeo. Take a look!

But there are many more reports. Atlanta, a 5 Million metropolitan area has now 58 snow plows, amazing! I saw on the way to the office regular building machines trying to move the snow, good that there are a few backhoe’s.
